How do I pay a balance on my card account?

BridgeHaul Premier Fuel Card customers typically have a 7-day billing cycle with 1-day payment terms (dependent on credit check). As a first-time user, you will need to set up and store your checking and/or savings account information for use in making payments. Once you have a payment method set up, you can edit or delete it, if necessary.  

 

When is my bank account charged?

Your bank account will be debited on the same day of the week as your account was confirmed and it will show on your bank statement 2-3 days after that. If you have any questions please contact cardholder services at 1-800-226-3870.

Why does the receipt at the fuel stop show the retail price instead of the discounted price?

Our partner merchants do not have the ability to print the discounted price because the discounts are applied through Comdata after the card is charged. You can find the discounted price you paid through your BridgeHaul carrier account. To view your transaction in your BridgeHaul carrier account please see those instructions.  

 

How do I load/fund my fuel card?

All BridgeHaul Premier Fuel Card accounts are 100% financially secured either by a cash security deposit or a third-party credit line for qualified carriers. Third party credit lines include Credit Insurance Policies, Letters of Guaranty, and Letters of Credit. The value of the third-party credit lines will be determined solely by the third party, based on your credit needs and the third party’s underwriting practices. If choosing to cash secure your card, a wide variety of payment formats are accepted, including ACH, wires, Western Union, and fuel card checks. What are the credit limits on my account?

Credit limits are determined at credit approval. Qualified carriers and drivers can receive a credit limit up to $4,000 per truck. BridgeHaul Premier Fuel Card customers typically have a 7-day billing cycle with 1-day payment terms.  

 

How do I see my recent purchases?

Once you have logged into your carrier account (see Setting up a BridgeHaul Carrier account), to view recent transactions, you’ll find those under on the lower right of the screen from the Fuel Cards screen. If you would like to see more transactions than the summary provided, click View More Transactions.  

 

How do I assign a driver to a card?

You first need to register for a free carrier account. Once your cards are linked to your account, follow the steps below

  • Once you have logged in to your carrier account, click Admin in menu pane on left side of screen
  • To get started, you’ll need to add your drivers by clicking on the sub-tab Drivers
  • Once you’ve added your drivers, select Fuel Cards under the Admin tab
  • From the Driver’s screen, click Add Driver at top right Fill out information on the form (required items are marked with *) then click Submit
  • Click Assign at the right side of the table for each card under your account
  • You’ll be presented with a pop-up screen, select the Driver you’d like to assign
  • Click Submit

 

How do I block a card?

If you would like to reassign a card, you can do so by adding a new driver and reassigning the card. \ If you or one of your drivers have lost possession of a card and you would like to block it. Go to your carrier account > click on Admin tab > click on Fuel Cards > click on the card you would like to block > once selected, click the Block button at the bottom right of the screen.  

 

How do I order a replacement card?

If you lost the card, you will first need to block the card. Go to your carrier account > click on Admin tab > click on Fuel Cards > click on the card you would like to block > once selected, click the Block button at the bottom right of the screen. Next, contact Comdata's Cardholder Services at 1-800-226-3870 to order a replacement card.  

 

How do I set a dollar or gallon limit on my card(s)?

You first need to register for a BridgeHaul carrier account.  Once your cards are linked to your account, follow the steps below…

Click on Admin > click Fuel Cards > click on the card you would like to set limits with > click Edit button in the top right corner > if you would like to set a total purchase limit in dollars, add a value to the Purchase Limit (Dollars) field > if you would like to set dollar limits to a single transaction, add a value to the One Time Purchase (Dollars) field > if you would like to set a total weekly gallons limit, add a value to Diesel #1/#2 Quantity Limit (Gallons) > click Save button at the top right of your screen  

 

How do I add another card?

Please contact Comdata's Cardholder Services at 1-800-226-3870 to add another card to your account.  

 

How do I activate my card?

The Comdata BridgeHaul Fuel Card is mailed in an active status and is ready for use

 

Where can I use my fuel card?

The BridgeHaul Premier Fuel Card is acceptable at locations that participate in the Comdata Network—which includes over 6,000 fueling locations nationwide—including all major and most independent truck stops. You can access location information by downloading the BridgeHaul app. Click on the Navigation module > ensure the fuel icon is selected. You will receive fuel discounts at all in-network providers in the BridgeHaul Network—which includes all TA and Petro locations, Casey’s, Roady’s, AMBEST, Speedway, and Sapp Brothers. To find BridgeHaul discount pricing, click Filter on the bottom right of the Navigation screen and ensure BridgeHaul Discount is selected.  

 

What fuel merchants have BridgeHaul discounts?

The Bridgehaul Fuel Card has a nationwide network of approximately 1,000 truck stops, including TA Petro, Speedway, Sapp Bros, Casey’s, Roady’s, and more.  

 

Where can I found the cheapest fuel on my route?

The BridgeHaul App empowers you to make better decisions about where to fuel up. Through BridgeHaul’s free mobile app, we display the cheapest fueling location based on your parameters, no matter what. Once you download the app, you will need to setup your account. In the app, you have access to BridgeHaul pricing for in-network providers. Out of network providers are still searchable if they are in the Comdata network. Though you may not get discounts at these, you are still free to “shop the streets” and will not incur any fees for fueling out-of-network.  

 

What can I purchase with my fuel card?

Cardholders can use their BridgeHaul Fuel Card for fuel, in-station purchases at truck stops, and cash advances. Cards can also be used for hotels and within the CAT Scale app.  

 

Can I use my fuel card at an ATM?

Though the BridgeHaul Premier Fuel card does not allow you to withdraw funds from an ATM, BridgeHaul carriers can get Cash Advances at Truck Stop locations in the Comdata network. Cash Advances are initiated at the truck stop’s Fuel Desk (with or without fuel).  

 

Is the Express Cash Feature available with my card?

No, the Express Cash feature is not enabled on the BridgeHaul Premier Fuel Card but will be available in a later card release.  

 

Are there any fees associated with the BridgeHaul Fuel Card?

There are no hidden fees, and no fine print. The only fee associated with the card is a monthly fee of $5.00 per card which is charged by Comdata. The discounts you get on fuel will easily eclipse the card cost. All it takes is one fill-up!  

 

Do I get charged a fee if I fuel at an out-of-network provider?

No! The BridgeHaul Premier Fuel Card has $0 card transaction fees, no matter where you fuel up. The only requirement is that locations must accept a Comdata card—which includes 6,000 fueling locations nationwide, including all major and most independent truck stops. You can access location information by downloading the BridgeHaul app. Click on the Navigation module > ensure the fuel icon is selected.
