What does "Send eROD" actually send?

If you are asked to send your eRODS please use the following hyperlinked article to see how. Sending Logs to FMCSA/Sending eRODS.

You can also print your logs by following the below article. Print Driver Logs.

This article is to describe what is being sent when you click that button on your carrier portal.

We send what is required by the FMSCA as any other company would. This is a basic view of your logs and will not show alerts like you can see in the carrier login. The FMSCA will have to view each day of your logs requested to find any alerts that may be present.

So we don't send miles in driving status we just send odometer readings, driving activities.

For locations, the ELD data transmitted is just lat and longitude coordinates for each activity.  The FMCSA system uses those lat and lon coords to determine a city and state like our app.  Those cities from the FMCSA database may not match exactly to our list of cities but the lat and lon coordinates would likely still be accurate.

File transmissions show unclaimed driving if it is more than 30 minutes of accumulated time.  We don't enable carrier edits in the fleet admin system so there will not be tracing of edits.

Just make sure you sign all your logs and add the shipping document number each day (e.g. BOL number) and make sure you are connecting to the ELD so it is automatically recording your drive time and mileage and you should be good to go.
