If you are experiencing issues connecting your iOS/Android device to the BridgeHaul ELD it could be due to battery optimization. Battery optimization helps conserve battery power on your device while using apps.
If you're using an Android device here is how to switch your battery optimization for the BridgeHaul app off.
Samsung (Android 6.x and higher)
Open Settings > Device Maintenance > Battery > From the upper right corner, tap on the 3 dots or the word "More"> Tap Advanced settings > Disable App power monitor
After this, go back into Battery Settings screen > Tap on Battery Usage > From the upper right corner, tap on the 3 dots > Tap Optimize battery usage > Select “All Apps” or "Apps not optimized" >Disable BridgeHaul App
Samsung (Android 9.x)
Open Settings > Tap Device Care> Tap Battery > Tap Battery Usage > Tap Optimize Battery Usage > Tap the Dropdown menu at the top > Tap All > Located the BridgeHaul App and turn the optimization off (PhotoEx. Samsung 6.x-8)
LG (Android 6.x and higher)
Open Settings > General > Go to Battery & Power Saving > Tap Battery usage > Tap Ignore optimizations or Power saving exclusions'> Disable BridgeHaul App

Open Settings > Tap Apps > Tap Settings > Tap Special access > Tap Ignore optimisations > Disable Bridghaul App (Photoex. Huawei 6.x - higher)

Open Settings > Go to Battery > Tap the Menu icon (located in the upper-right) > Tap Battery optimization > Tap the “Not optimized” dropdown menu (located at the top) > Tap All apps > Tap BridgeHaul App> Select Don’t optimize >
HTC (Android 6.x and higher)
Open Settings > Tap power > Tap Battery Optimization > Tap Not optimized > All apps > scroll and look for the Bridgehaul App > Tap Don't optimize > Done
