Connecting Account to Highway

How to provide access to Highway for Carrier Onboarding

Highway is a service provider to freight brokerages to provide compliance and monitoring when brokers onboard new carriers.  You may be asked by a broker to onboard and provide Highway with access to some of your data.  BridgeHaul enables you to grant access or revoke access at any time even before you onboard with a broker who uses Highway.

Highway may also send a connection request to BridgeHaul requesting access.  If this occurs, BridgeHaul will send your fleet admin with Super Admin role an email with a link to approve the requested connection.  The link will take you straight into the TMS Integration page where you can follow instructions in steps  5 & 6 described below:

To grant Highway access:

1. log in to your carrier TMS at https://carrier.bridgehaul.com/#/auth/login

2. Click on the Settings icon in the top right and select Integrations

integrations

3. Scroll down to Visibility Partners and Find Highway

4. Click on "Connect" in the Highway box and then Approve.    This action will send a message to Highway, notifying them of the change, at which time they can now make requests to our system to get all Driver information, Vehicle Information, and Location information.

5. If you have received an email notification indicating that Highway would like to Connect.  You can click the button in the email and it will take you to the carrier TMS Integration page.  You will see when the connection request was initiated and you can decide to Approve the Connection or Decline it.  If you Decline it, Highway will not be able to access any data about your carrier.  If you Approve, they will have access to Driver, Vehicle, and Location information.
